Sandburg Sports Are Back! Here’s What You Need to Know

After a lengthy wait, the Chargers are just about ready to hit the court! Here’s everything you need to know as Carl Sandburg College Athletics gets set to start its latest sport season.
Who’s playing right now?
The Chargers men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball teams will begin competition the week of Feb. 15.
Where can I find a schedule?
Updated schedules and rosters for each team in season right now can be found on sandburg.edu.
Can fans attend games?
Unfortunately, at this time fans are not be able to attend men’s basketball, women’s basketball or volleyball events at any NJCAA Region IV institution.
Will I be able to watch games online?
Yes. All Chargers home games will be live streamed. We will share the location of the stream the day of the game on the Carl Sandburg College Athletics Facebook page and Sandburg Athletics Twitter account, @SandburgNJCAA.
For road games where live streams are available, we will share links on Facebook and Twitter. Home teams are encouraged to live stream their events, but they are not required to do so.
What if I can’t watch?
Sandburg has partnered with SportReporting so that fans can get Chargers scores delivered straight to their phone and email for free. Once a game has been submitted, the score will be sent by text message and/or to your inbox. It takes only a minute to sign up, and additional details can be found here.
